The project conducts research in production planning and detailed scheduling in stochastic environments. 

The key steps are:

• Utilize machine learning (ML) to identify suitable approaches for production scheduling under uncertainty​
• Develop framework and methodologies for integrating ​online decision making and planning in detailed scheduling ​
• Benchmark novel ML approaches to classic methodologies​
• Match methodologies to production settings​
• Integrate online decision-making with planning
