Anum Afzal, a PhD student from the sebis chair at TUM (https://wwwmatthes.in.tum.de/pages/t5ma0jrv6q7k/sebis-Public-Website-Home), has successfully completed the first year of her applied research project titled "Applications of Text Generation through Semi-Supervised Learning and Other State-of-the-Art Machine Learning Approaches." With the guidance of Prof. Dr. Florian Matthes and close collaboration with experts from the SAP AI Center of Excellence, the project aims to enhance digital assistants by leveraging various machine learning (ML) approaches.

The primary focus of the project is to reduce complexity and improve accuracy in areas like question-answering and text generation models, ultimately boosting productivity and efficiency in the intelligence enterprise environment. The research has already yielded promising results, paving the way for future investigations in the realm of generative AI
