ESG in Finance Lab: SAP and TUM collaborate to transform decision making towards sustainable practices

Last week, on April 18 and 19, SAP and the Technical University of Munich hosted a two-day event as part of our joint SAP@TUM ESG in Finance Lab. The event brought together students, researchers from TUM, and SAP experts.
 
On the first day, we welcomed student teams working on ESG-related studies. The teams had the opportunity to meet with SAP experts who will act as mentors while the teams work on their challenges. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to gain insight into real-world scenarios and gain hands-on experience.
 
On the second day, we hosted the TUM seminar "Challenges in Strategic Financial Transformations". SAP experts from SAP Controlling and SAP Product Development provided insights into various aspects that companies - and SAP itself - are facing when it comes to transforming decision making towards sustainable practices.
