The SAP University Competence Centre Munich marked a significant milestone by celebrating its 20th anniversary. The event was a festive gathering of current and former UCC members, partners and friends, where we took a nostalgic look back at the impressive achievements of the past two decades and the incredible people who made them possible.

Our heartfelt congratulations go to Prof Dr Helmut Krcmar and Dr Holger Wittges, as well as all the directors and staff of UCC over the years. Their dedication and vision have been instrumental in shaping this success story!

The celebration took place during the evening event of the SAP Academic Community Conference in Munich, which was attended by more than 150 researchers and educators from the DACH academic community. Munich's key role in the SAP ecosystem was highlighted, emphasising the strong connection between academia and business.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the opening of the new SAP Labs Campus building in Garching next year, which will include SAP UCC Munich and its data centre. Together under one roof, this will further strengthen our partnership with the Technical University of Munich and foster even deeper collaboration
