Karina Edmonds, Head of Research Services US at SAP, visited multiple SAP locations in Germany last week, including Walldorf, Heilbronn, and Munich.

During her stay in Munich, Edmonds met with Professors Helmut Krcmar and Holger Wittges to gain insight into the longstanding collaboration between SAP and TUM and further strengthen it. She also joined the Business AI Research Retreat, connecting with our collaborators.

Edmonds, who reports to Dr. Philipp Herzig, Chief Technology Officer at SAP, plays a key role in driving global research partnerships. Her visit underscored SAP’s commitment to strong industry-academia partnerships, emphasizing the importance of the SAP-TUM relationship, shaping applied research and AI-driven innovation.
