SAP sponsored the TREO Talks (Technology, Research, Education, and Opinion) at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in Nashville, reinforcing its commitment to advancing dialogue at the intersection of technology, research, and practice.
Representing SAP, Dr. Timo Böttcher participated in the conference with multiple contributions. He presented a workshop paper on productivity in software projects, which received the Best Paper award of the workshop on IT project management, delivered a TREO Talk on Digital Waste, and co-authored a paper on the design of digital product passports.
SAP’s project partners Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Helmut Krcmar and Philipp Kernstock also took part in ICIS. They presented a paper on Polycentric Governance of Data Ecosystems, which was additionally nominated for Best Short Paper.
