On 29th September 2025, the PhD Hub Meeting at SAP Labs Munich was followed by a festive afternoon at the Oktoberfest. 

The event brought together SAP and TUM doctoral researchers, SAP experts, and IUC alumni for a day of knowledge exchange and networking. The morning sessions featured an introduction to SAP Labs Munich, SAP’s corporate strategy presented by Maximilian Schneider, an overview of SAP University Alliances by Dr. Katharina Schäfer, and insights into SAP’s research community from Dr. Hannah Sperling. After lunch at SAP Labs Munich, the day continued at the Schottenhammel Festzelt.

The event showcased collaboration between academia and industry while celebrating knowledge sharing in a traditionally Bavarian setting, reflecting the community’s goal of strengthening connections among PhDs.
